Hello!

My name is Kaitlyn Lawless! I'm thrilled to be back home in Elmore County serving WMS and RMS as their theatre teacher for my 7th year as a Theatre Educator! Thank you for your interest in my class!

I'm married to my husband Danny, and we have two beautiful children named Cecilia and Leo. I love all things Theatre: directing, acting, and singing. On my free time I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, and performing. During the summer months, and occasionally during the year, I am blessed to work as a teaching artist with Alabama Shakespeare Festival! 

This year in Theatre, students will learn all about the performance art. They will learn how to work as a group in an ensemble, work through improv scenes, contentless scenes, scripted scenes, write their own material, direct each other in scenes, study a few plays, and explore the different elements and cultures of theatre. 

I update about all going on in class weekly through Remind!
